Biomimicry: Thermoregulation

Working from a brief proposed by the Biomimicry Institute for Nike, this project was about biomimetic applications for thermoregulation.  Using design cues from nature, my goal was to solve heat exhaustion in football players.  The result was a helmet that cooled the athlete resulting in safer play, and higher performance.  This project demonstrated my comfort in using biomimetics in my design process.
